Number Nine is a Gift User and a former employee of Chain Logis. Initially, he worked as a deliveryman in the courier division of the company, where he served Chain for years.
After the events of The Torch Arc and Nostra City Arc, Nine chose to quit and leave Chain Logis when the Hero Clan began freezing the company's assets and initiated a manhunt for Chain. Subsequently, Nine aligned himself with the Hero Clan and began working for them.
Appearance
Nine is a young man with light-toned skin and black hair, which matches the color of his eyes. He is of average height and maintains a clean, composed appearance. During his time at Chain Logis, he typically wore a long-sleeve white formal uniform paired with black pants and shoes, alongside a courier vest that was characteristic of Chain Logis' company.[1]
After joining the Hero Clan, Nine's overall appearance remained largely unchanged, though he switched out his former courier vest for one associated with the Hero Clan.
Personality
Nine is a confident and self-assured individual, particularly in his abilities. He believes in his capacity to overcome challenges and has even considered himself capable of taking on Hero Killer, showcasing his arrogance.
Despite his confidence, Nine possesses a pragmatic side. He did not hesitate to flee upon encountering The Nameless and quickly surrendered after witnessing Rachel’s power. His willingness to adapt is further demonstrated by his seamless "transition" from Chain Logis to the Hero Clan, showing that he prioritizes survival and aligns himself with the dominant force.
