The Ancient Language is a form of language spoken by characters in the series. The language's official name has yet to be revealed, but it appears to be spoken and understood by only a handful of people indicating its rarity.
Overview
The language's origins or full history have yet to be revealed or explained. Still, it's been shown to be related or originated in the Southern Continent, where a group of people that worshipped the Elder, Prim Anville as a god spoke the language and one of the Elder's personalities speaks entirely in the language.[1]
The language was also shown to be spoken by former residents of Old Nera, the kingdom of Villains with both the late Abyss Dancer and the new Elder, Engen the Smiling Man speaking and understanding it.[2] The Prosecutor was shown to understand the language, but didn't speak it. It's unknown if it was only him that understood the language or if it spoken in his homeland of Avaarin.[3]
