Wake Up, Hollow Puppet is the Gift used by Puppeteer. It allows her to control and use the bodies of others like "puppets".
Description
Puppeteer's taking direct control.
The Gift grants Puppeteer the ability to control both living individuals and corpses as if they were "puppets".[1] While the exact nature of the ability remains unclear, it's been shown to manifest as thin, invisible strings of EST and possess the distinctive wide range as well as the capacity to utilize the latent powers of a deceased Gift user, preserving and even replicating their Gift after death.[2] Puppeteer can also wield the Gifts of living individuals without being bound by the original limitations or conditions tied to those abilities.[3]
Usage
Puppeteer primarily manipulates her puppets' motor functions for combat, using her Gift offensively to conduct psychological warfare while remaining safely away from the frontlines, reflecting both her sadist and cowardly nature.[4] She can control a large number of puppets when facing multiple opponents, typically utilizing corpses much like Engen’s undead armies of Hell.[5]
New undead puppets.
Under her command, these puppets can overwhelm entire enemy forces through relentless attrition tactics, gradually breaking their morale with the grotesque and horrifying sight of fallen comrades turned against them. Additionally, her puppets can kill enemies to provide fresh bodies for her expanding horde and shield her
Puppeteer can also communicate through her puppets regardless of their condition which demonstrates her mastery of the Gift. This grants her even more significant tactical advantages, allowing her to unnerve opponents and orchestrate ambushes with complete surprise.[6] Aside from offense, Puppeteer uses her puppets for defense, having formed a shield of corpses to protect herself and perform mundane tasks like collecting bodies for her "work".[7] Whenever getting serious, Puppeteer relinquishes control of her surrounding puppets to concentrate solely on manipulating her primary puppet to serve as her main weapon in battle.
Techniques
Weaknesses
Although Puppeteer can use the Gifts of living individuals, she lacks their refined skill and the full extent of power when wielding their abilities. While controlling Prosecutor, the Special Forces hero was noticeably weaker than he was in his conscious state later needing total focus to use the late The Knight Commander of Avaarin's body. Additionally, after her battle with Hero Killer, it was shown that Puppeteer can suffer damage through the link she shares with her primary puppet.
